Jennifer Brozek is a multi-talented, award-winning author, editor, and tie-in writer. She is the author of the Never Let Me Sleep, and The Last Days of Salton Academy, and the editor of A Secret Guide to Fighting Elder Gods, all of which were finalists for the Bram Stoker Award. Her BattleTech tie-in novel, The Nellus Academy Incident, won a Scribe award in 2015. Her Shadowrun tie-in novel, Shadowrun: Auditions, won the Scribe award in 2024. Her editing work has earned her nominations for the British Fantasy Award, the Bram Stoker Award, and the Hugo Award as well as won her the Australian Shadows Award for Grants Pass. Jennifer’s short form work has appeared in Apex Magazine, Uncanny Magazine, and in anthologies set in the worlds of Valdemar, Elemental Masters, Shadowrun, V-Wars, Masters of Orion, Well World, and Predator.

Jennifer has been a freelance author, editor, tie-in writer for over seventeen years after leaving her high paying tech job, and she’s never been happier. She keeps a tight schedule on her writing and editing projects and somehow manages to find time to volunteer for several professional writing organizations such as SFWA, HWA, and IAMTW. Jennifer Brozek is a British Fantasy Award finalist, a Hugo Award finalist, and a multiple Bram Stoker Award finalist. Winner of the Australian Shadows Award for best edited publication, Jennifer has edited twenty-five anthologies with more on the way, including the acclaimed A Secret Guide to Fighting Elder Gods and Shattered Shields anthologies. Author of Shadowrun: Makeda Red, Industry Talk, The Last Days of Salton Academy, and the acclaimed Melissa Allen series, she has more than 100 published short stories.

Jennifer is a freelance author for numerous RPG companies. Winner of the Scribe, Origins, and ENnie awards, her contributions to RPG sourcebooks include Dragonlance, Colonial Gothic, Shadowrun, Serenity, Savage Worlds, and White Wolf SAS. Jennifer is the author of the award winning YA BattleTech novel, The Nellus Academy Incident, and Shadowrun works, Makeda Red, Doc Wagon 19 and A Kiss To Die For. She has also written for the AAA MMO, Aion, and the award winning videogame, Shadowrun Returns.
