Anglicon Schedule

I will be at Anglicon this coming weekend as a panelist and with Books & Chains. If I’m not at the Dealer’s table, this is where I am.

Friday:
Black Mirror: Too Much or Just Enough – Cascade 2, 2pm
The Best British Shows You’re Not Watching – Cascade 2, 4pm

Saturday:
Sherlock Holmes in Every Incarnation – Olympic 2 – Saturday, 3pm

Sunday:
How Do You Solve a Problem Like Clara? – Cascade 2 – Sunday, 3pm

Both Raven and I will have mystery boxes to sell at the convention (perfect for that hard to buy for person in your life) as well as books and candles. Elise, of course, will have her fabulous chainmail.

Come by, say hello, get a book signed, and buy a gift for yourself or that someone special. Hope to see you there!

Between that and anniversaries of my parents’ deaths and a whole host of other things, I structured the year a bit differently. First, the cold hard numbers… New words written: 94,100. Words edited (for me and others): 342,000 Works submitted: 13 Acceptances: 10 (76.9%) Rejections: 1 (7.7%) Still out: 2 (15.3%) New works published: 1 novel, 2 novellas, 8 short stories, 1 anthology, and 2 books re-released (1 fiction collection, 1 novel) New words written thoughts: For the first time in a very long time, I wrote less than 100K new words in a year. When I first saw the...

The Village by the Sea was established in 1850. The Guide is set in a time that’s equivalent to present day. If you strip off the technology, the Village has changed less than it’s willing to admit since its Founding. The old red light district is still there downtown, when you peel away the glitz of modern bars. The same ghosts never rest and the Founding Families are still as dangerous as That Which Sleeps Beneath. Synesthetic Detective When a handful of my friends asked me...
