Author, Editor, Media Tie-In Writer

NEVER LET ME DIE has been released!

NEVER LET ME DIE, the third book in the Melissa Allen trilogy has been released. All of these books have been doing really well. NEVER LET ME SLEEP is even on the HWA Bram Stoker Award™ 2015 Reading List!

What would you do if your sister was shot and your brother was kidnapped? Melissa Allen knows.

It’s been six months since the attack at PAR Lab. Melissa, Carrie, and Adam have settled into a semblance of domestic bliss with Heather as their guardian. Things seem too good to be true.

Someone has been watching them, taking photos and keeping notes. Someone who seems to know everything about them. Someone who has no problem trying to kill them.

Happy Book Release Day to me!

Gen Con is always an exciting time. This year was no exception. Between the panels, workshops, and business meetings, there is no way I could summarize everything that happened. However, my “To Follow-up On” list is about a mile long. So many good memories. Among them may be the following… Declined an offer from Marie Bilodeau to steal a chair for me. Had a lovely 10 second interaction with the DnD Shorts guy in the Dispel Dice mosh pit of a line. Discovered that Phil Lee IS the power behind the throne of Cat Labs. Already have business meetings scheduled for Gen Con 2025. Plotted shenanigans for WorldCon 2025 in Seattle. Signed an editor-publisher anthology contract for something new and exciting. Caused one of my planes home to need to be rebooted to fix something (darn QA effect aura). Announced an open call to a new magazine I am editing....

As an outsider, things are scary, but she’s got a bunch of cool new friends! Monday 2/12: Piper’s one-on-one will be released on YouTube.
